Send money

1. Open the app and log in to your account.
2. Choose 'Send and Request'
3. Enter your recipients name, PayPal username, email, or mobile number.
4. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a note if you wish. Select 'Send'
5. Choose payment type between 'Friends and Family' or 'Goods and Services'. Choose "Next"
6. Review the details and select 'Send'

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Choose “Send & Request.”
3. Enter your recipient’s name, PayPal username, email, or mobile number. Choose “Next.”
4. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a note if you’d like. Select “Continue.”
5. Choose whether you’re “Paying for an item or Service” or “Sending to a friend.”
6. Select how you want to pay and choose “Next.”
7. Review the information and select “Send Payment Now.”

Yes you can. Here’s how.

1. Choose “Send & Request.”
2. Select “Send.”
3. Enter your recipient’s name, PayPal username, email, or mobile number. Choose “Next.”
4. Enter the amount you want to gift.
5. Select “Change” next to “paying for an item or service.”
6. Choose the present icon. Select a card theme and add a personal note.
7. Select “Next.” Then choose “Continue” to confirm your transaction.

There are no transaction fees when you send money to friends and family within the UK from your debit/credit card, bank account, or PayPal account. We don’t charge you fees when you pay for goods or services in the UK or in GBP. Fees apply when converting currency and sending money to an account in another country. See Fees.
