Send money

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Choose “Send and Request” from the top navigation pane.
3. Enter your recipient’s name, PayPal username, email, or mobile number. Choose “Next”.
4. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a note if you’d like. Select “Next”.
5. Select how you want to pay and choose whether you’re paying “For goods and services” or “Friends and Family”.
6. Review the information and select “Send”."

2. Choose “Payments” and then “Pay.” Or, select the “Send” button.
3. Enter your recipient’s name, PayPal username, email, or mobile number. Choose “Next.”
4. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a note if you wish. Select “Next.”
5. Select “Friends and Family” or “Goods and Services.” Choose “Next.”
6. Review the details and select “Send.”

Yes you can, using your web browser on desktop or mobile. Here’s how.

1. Choose “Send & Request” from the top navigation pane.
2. Enter your recipient’s name, PayPal username, email, or mobile number. Choose “Next”.
3. Enter the amount and currency that you want to gift.
4. Select “Add a theme”. Select a card theme and add a personal note, then “Save”.
5. Select “Next.”
6. Select how you want to pay, review the information and select “Send”.

If you send money from a PayPal balance, bank account, there is no fee for domestic AUD transactions. If you send money from a credit or debit card domestically in AUD, there is a 2.6% + fixed fee. Fees are subject to change.
